Mexican Martinis Recipe
Fresh lime juice is the base for this margarita-style drink garnished with jalapeno-stuffed green olives.
After living in Austin Texas for 10 years, my husband and I perfected the perfect margarita. The secret to success is fresh fruit juice only and it doesn't use any pre-made mixes! Don't skimp and try buying juice. Squeeze it yourself or you won't get the best taste! If you are a real olive lover, add pimento stuffed olives and call it a 'Mexican martini'...delicious! and you won't confuse yours with anyone else's if you add 3 olives on a stirrer. :)
Potent and spicy notes going down with a nice long, cooling dark chocolate finish. Styled after some Mexican chocolate cupcakes I adore, and the more traditional Mexican hot chocolate.
Not to be outdone by the Irish, Mexico has a spiked coffee of its own. Coffee liqueur and tequila give this warming drink quite a kick.
This sweet and rich martini made with vanilla-flavored vodka, creme de cacao, and Irish cream is a perfect dessert cocktail or evening treat.
Sweet watermelon juice is shaken with vodka and watermelon schnapps in this refreshing summer cocktail.
The tangy juice of the dill pickle suits the dry flavor of vodka in this 3-ingredient martini.
If you are looking for a real Mexican cocktail, you just found it! This drink combines, in one glass, the best of Mexico: tequila and sangrita (Mexican's favorite tequila chaser). Don't look for cheap tequila; if you like the good stuff, don't be afraid to mix it.
Tequila shaken with coffee-flavored liqueur produce a Mexican-inspired cocktail. Garnish with a maraschino cherry for a fun accent.
